We were looking for a smaller desk that could hold my disabled mother's everyday things for her get easily and perhaps sit buy the window and eat there as well. This was very nice looking, easy to assemble, and held lots of her stuff. My only complaint is that it was too wobbly for her to feel comfortable seated there as she needed to hold on to it to get in and out of her walker. We did keep it as it fit the corner of her room perfectly and it matched her furniture.
Wanted something small for the guest room but at the same time spacious enough to be comfortable. desk. Looks better in person than what pictures show. If you like the classy, elegant look this is the ideal desk. Absolutly love it!
Because this desk is adjustable, I bought it to be used as a workstation where I could remain standing up. While it was being assembled I realized it was a great deal shorter than I'd anticipated. It has to be positioned at almost the very top of the height adjustment in order for me to comfortably work standing -- and I'm only 5 foot 3. At the final point of adjustment it starts to get wobbly and feels unstable. I imagine this would make a better sitting desk or a standing table for children or adults who are shorter than average. You also get what you pay for; we're not talking family heirloom here. The top is just particle board coated in veneer -- one corner arrived already dented during shipping. The metal bases and supports do seem very sturdy so we'll see how it stands the test of time.
