I own the desk and the hutch. The design is nice, but the quality of the laminate is not. It is very thin, just daily wear and tear is showing the edges coming up I've used if for several months now, can't imagine what it will look like in a year or two. Thought I'd have this for a while but guessing now, that won't be the case. I use a cordless mouse and have used it on the desk without a mouse pad and the finish on the desk is coming off in small point like pieces there, have never seen a desk do this before. I wouldn't recommend and would not buy again if I had a do over. Bush use to mean quality not anymore.
The picture of this desk doesn't do it justice! The drawers provide enough storage for my work, where I do more digital storage, so I don't need (and don't want) many drawers. I turned this desk into a multi-tasker (like I am...lol), and it also serves as my makeup vanity: the left and middle drawer is the "business" side, and the right drawer is the "party" (the makeup side)...lol
I assembled the entire desk as instructed. At step 20 you are to insert the drawers. The two outer drawers cannot be inserted as the pre-drilled holes for the rail placement were off by 1/2" on parts A and B. Bush has to send me all new parts and fasteners. They expect me to find some way to dispose of all the wooden parts of the 48" desk. I cannot disassemble it as i put the face plates on as instructed and they are nailed on and I cannot get the nails out. I would simply return it for refund except I already assembled the matching file cabinet. I will never again buy any furniture manufactured by Bush furniture.
Received my desk, I would have given an great review but the corner was banged and chipped when I pulled it out of box. Would have returned but needed a desk in my new office to conduct business and didn't want to wait for another one, and found out that was chipped as well.
