Perfect looking, provided excellent light. They receive Lots of compliments. I purchased two of these lights. The glaze adds an interesting visual appeal to the lamp. Bad news the light switch broke yesterday. I don't know how to get it repaired.. it is an attractive lamp and I want to continue using it for years to come. Where do I go for light switch repair?
This was purchased as a bedside lamp for reading. The light can be directed easily and can take a strong bulb. The style is beautiful. The on:off switch is on the cord not the lamp. Works well for me as the switch lies on the mattress corner and can be easily reached to turn off.
This desk lamp has multiple brightness settings. It is touch activated, so you don't have to physically push the button, which emits a blue light as long as the lamp is plugged in. I have placed this lamp on my piano, and it's perfect there because it lights up at least a full page of the sheet music.
Overall this is a great bedside lamp (I don't use it at a desk). Two things to know (if these were there I'd give it 5-stars) - one cannot touch it just anywhere to turn it on and off, one has to hit the switch/dimming button. It would be nice if the entire lamp was sensitive to touch so one does not have to search for the round button to touch in the dark. Second, the blue led light that circles the button (okay - if it was on it would be easier to hone in on the button) is bright and I'm not a fan of night lights in my bedroom, I like it dark. That being said, I took it apart and found the circuit wire to cut and disable the blue led light - voila - fixed. Otherwise - I like it, simple clean design, dimming with recall of brightness level where one left it. If they made one a little taller with a head that had angle/height adjustment it would be perfect for a bedside reading light too (but I don't read in bed that much - so works for me).
