Beautiful faux book set, the color is a pretty blue with purple and gold accents just as pictured. Definitely would purchase again and recommend to a friend.
This relatively neutral mirror is stunning. Contrary to what a previous commenter posted, mine has touches of eggplant, and no blues whatsoever. Due to the mirror's reflective nature, I'm wondering if perhaps there was blue in the reviewer's room? The mirror, IMO, was a little more glassy/silvery than I'd expected. What looks like frosted, white-ish tiles in the photos is simply reflective mirror. And this piece has beautiful browns, silvers, mochas, splashes of gold and small amounts of warm purples. I'm 100% thrilled with this purchase and assure you that you won't be disappointed.
This is a very attractive mirror. You can't tell from the picture, but each of the tiles on the outside is actually a little beveled mirror with an antique type finish. I thought from the picture they would be like a mother of pearl or metal. Because they are all mirrors it makes the piece much more "blingy" (shiny) than I thought it would be, but it still goes great with our decor. If you were looking for something more muted/subdued this might not be the right purchase. The outside tiles are mainly gray with splashes of brown, smidges of dark purple and dark yellow/gold. I'm decorating in gray tones and this works really well. The colors are neutral enough that I think it would go with just about any color palette. The small beveled mirrors on the circumference really give it a nice touch. The bevels catch the light and make it sparkle, giving it a unique personality. Sort of like a high quality diamond. (Nothing tacky like a disco ball.) The 3 rows of mirror tiles are raised. So the innermost row is probably about 2-3 inches high, the second row a little lower, and the third, outermost row is the same depth as the interior mirror. It is very heavy, about 45 lbs. There are 2 D rings on the back for hanging. We are trying to place it on our 2 story,24 foot mantle and are going to have a professional do the work just to make sure there is no chance it will fall.
