Read the reviews, the seat is very large and the back does lean back more than expected, but gorgeous, exactly what I was looking for. A very high end, formal chair. Assembly was challenging but not impossible, after the 3rd chair I figured out tricks to assembly that made things a breeze.
They arrived as pictured but what I didn't realize until they were assembled is how far the chair back is reclined. If you are using them as dining chairs, most of the time you will need to lean forward substantially to reach the table because the chair back is not straight.
Nice solid chair. Assembly was simple - was missing a screw.
These chairs are beautiful and strong. They come two to a box when delivered. It took me about 15 minutes per chair to put each one together. I like the dark fabric since I have kids. The seat is long which makes my feet hang. I am 5'2".
I gave these a 3 because. The inside back fabric is not secured. Easy to put together. Wood is pretty. They are a dark ivory. They are large. They are firm but comfortable. The edge was not caught UPDATE: I called Overstock. Spoke with Chad. Great customer rep!! They have a new chair coming at no expense to me. They are great to work with!!! ✅
These are perfection. We're tall folks, so other reviewers comments stump me. The chairs are beautiful, well made, sturdy. The linen is a nice quality. The set is lovely.
These chairs look great in photos but are not designed to fit at a dining table. The backs are slanted back like a lounge chair so there's no way to have any back support while sitting there. The seat height is perfect. The cushions are very firm yet I'm assuming they will soften over time. The huge issue with the seats are that they are at least 5" too deep. I'm 5'-6" and when I sit all the way back in the chairs my feet don't touch the ground. My husband who's 6'-2" can't even sit all the way back comfortably. The wood is nice and solid and the upholstery is good quality. Beware that if you buy these I hope you are handy and can do basic woodwork as none of the screw holes aligned up at all to be able to assemble the chairs. We had to RE drill most of the holes. I would have returned these chairs as they are just not designed right but we were in a bind and needed them for Xmas dinner tomorrow. It's a shame. It's a lot of money to be so disappointed.
These are beautiful chairs. Nicely constructed. Easy to put together. The color is amazing. I bought 8 and love em'. 💗
Did not like the color of the chairs. Were also more bulkier than I wanted.
I love these chairs! The only downfall is the legs come loose often. But honestly the quality and look are so great that I don't even care, I just have my husband tighten the bolts often!
