    It is not recommended to put it on the floor as it will tilt forward unless to screw it to the wall.

    I did! I just put the screws at the exact level to have the unit sit on the floor. That way it wont fall over.

    chose it to put collection of minitures on. When it arrived, the box was very heavy. When I opened it I was surprised at the depth of the shelves. I may have to return it, as it may overpower the space I was going to use to display my collection.

    I have one in white that I really like, so I'm buying one for my husbands office. Warning: the weight of this shelf plus my items on display made the entire unit pull the bolts out of the wall and the entire unit fell to the floor, breaking some of my ceramics. I had someone come in to professionally install so that doesn't happen again. I will use professional cabinet installer for this one also.
