I like it. 3 stars rating is due to misleading description. I bought those BECAUSE of blackout in the description. They are not. Those are very sheer curtains. For the set I bought for the living room, it doesn't matter being sheer. But the first set I bought, was for my bedroom and this does not block any sunlight. I had to change the curtain rod and use them with a real blackout underneath. The material is like a fine jute with designs set on top, velvety like. Those velvety appliqués can be very frayed on some spots, they are not nice and crisp throughout. They are nice, very cheap, just be warned and know what to expect.
These were a pleasant surprise! Had ordered the Cypress drapes that were similar before and when received was a little disappointed but would have been workable. The Cypress had a shiny embroidery scrollwork which I had expected to be more of a jute material. And, didn't have enough of the color I needed so had to return what I had received and then ordered the Santiago style. Things have a way of working out because these were perfect. Had jute scrollwork which was so much prettier. In fact, these can be compared to draperies I had looked at that were twice the price per panel. The sand color is perfect if you're trying to go the linen color route. You won't be disappointed in these.
I bought two panels 6 years ago then in my new house they were just not full enough. I thought no way would I find two more but I looked at my purchase history and BAM ordered two more
They look like a more expensive drape than they actually cost. They aren't blackout curtains just as a reminder but it's a tight enough weave and dark color so with the sheers they block out most of the light.
