Makes your bedroom much garker. It does require a rod to reach up and adjust the drape if you're short but once you've got it flush with the wall it really makes a difference. Another hint, rather than buy an 86 curtain, hang the rod from near the ceiling and buy a 96 drape. Then you'll get no light over the top of the rod.
I purchased these rods to go with some blackout drapes for a couple of bedrooms. They were easy to install, mounted solidly, and complemented the drapes nicely. Good buy for a good price
