I first saw this set in the store. What caught my attention was "the Made in France" label. It is hefty, well balanced professional grade cookware. Plus, it has this French Chic Style going on....really, makes the artist in me very happy, Never thought I could afford such pots and pans. As reviewers have noted, there is a learning curve to these pots. They need less heat, gently heat them up, then back the heat off. There is no hot spots, food cooks evenly. I was fretting at first about food sticking, But again, following manufacturers' directions, place hot water in pot afterwards, with a drop or two of dishwashing soap. After dinner, if you want to polish it up, Barkeepers Friend does a good job. Interior will develop a patina. I have had this set since December. I bought it on sale, but Overstock has it at an incredible low price. This a limited edition set.

  • So far, so good!

I've only had this set for a few weeks, but in that time I've tried using every pan. For the most part they perform better than I could have hoped. Food browns well and cooking is fast and even. There is a bit of a learner's curve to using them, especially when using higher levels of heat. These pans do not need to be heated the same way as cheaper or non-stick pans I have. So, it's been hard to get used to this issue, but with practice things have been coming out better. They are a little difficult to clean, if you don't want to scratch them. I've found that if you put hot water in the pan right after use and let it soak, they do clean up more easily. Then use Barkeeper's friend and dry with a towel immediately, and you'll keep their brilliant shine. Overall, I'm very satisfied with these pots and pans and I feel you can make excellent food with them every time, so long as you know what you're doing.

  • Very Nice Product

Very nice product and very well made. One tip is to let your pots/pan heat up nice and hot before you begin to cook. This will cut down on the sticking. The pans are not very fun to clean. I would purchase some bar maid cleaner which does a nice job on making the pans shine again.

My husband was thrilled with this set. I purchased it because of the quality, but also because it fit well into his existing pieces. The stock pot was not a piece that was found in most sets. It heats evenly...no hot spots. Nice weight, long handles and beautiful to look at besides. Makes you look and cook like a pro!
