We bought this because our octagon cantilevered umbrella of the same brand is over 5 years old now and still looks great! The 11 x 11 model looks just as expected and went together with no issues. We expect the same lifespan from it as it looks like a great quality material. We're in south Florida so normally anything fabric bleaches out within a year or two and has to be replaced so we were impressed.
This umbrella is over 3 years old and the color is still very bold. And it's still very stable and strong

Good, sturdy umbrella! pretty easy to set it up. definitely requires good weighted base with water. When open, covers good amount of space on my deck. Highly recommend.
