We were in the market for four bar stools that would tolerate a household with three toddlers that were well made and had a sophisticated design. We ordered two sets. The stools came in two boxes: one contained the seats, the other the legs. I was shocked to see this as the description said the stools came assembled. The box stated in bold "Made in China by an American company" -- not the best thing to advertise. Nonetheless, we began to put the stools together. Assembly was fairly simple. There were a few times the treads did not match up to the screws, and we had make adjustments to the legs,foot rail, or seat which was extremely tedious and frustrating. As we were putting the chairs together we noticed a few imperfections, dents, or chips in the bamboo and leather. In the end, you get what you pay for. Well made bars stools are $300+ each so I guess a set of 2 stools at the $price point I can't complain.

These stools came in two boxes. At first I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get them in the house. but they weren’t that heavy, and I was so excited I just wanted to get them in and put them together. They have super easy to follow instructions and included the Allen wrech used to tighten the bolts. They are well built and look so very nice in my home. I am totally happy with this purchase and would encourage anyone else to purchase these stools if they are in the market for high quality bar stools.

I had to have my artisan friend cut these down to make them counter height, but it was worth it. They look very high-end, like an old English Pub feel.
