"Unfortunately some of those Christmas tree scented “sticks” fell onto our table top and when we discovered this they had “melted” into the wood and took some finish off when we took them off. Can we just lightly sand that spot and re-stain? If so, what stain and finish would you recommend? "

I was hesitant about ordering this table as I had never ordered from Overstock before. I had a question about the height of the table after reading some of the reviews. I posed the question to Overstock customer service. I got a response after 3 days and was satisfied and placed the order. I am so very happy with this pub table. The quality and appearance is wonderful. The height of the table is actual 40” not 42” as in the description. It works for me and my existing counter top stools. I would highly recommend this item.

The rep that I spoke to was shocked they did not match, as the names are very misleading. When I said I would exchange the table for one that matched the chairs OR return the chairs for ones that matched the table, I was informed they didn't have any matching products. Very disappointing. I returned everything.

I love it - -and so does my husband. He out it together quickly, and it looks wonderful in our family/dining room area. The wooden top is very nice and the entire item is solidly made. We are very happy with our purchase.

This is NOT a pub table - it is counter height
I am really really really upset about this table - it is advertised as 42" tall - true pub table height ...... WRONG !!!! It is really 36" tall .... I purchased this a couple of months ago in anticipation of my new deck and pool being completed. I had the boxes stored until today ... I just finished building the 4 bar height stools .... they came out ok ... then I opened the box for this table. So ANGRY!! As now I am told I am outside of the return window for this table. So I am stuck with a table that is of no use to me. What a waste.

No. It does come with an Allen wrench to put it together. Anticipate an hour to assemble it. Don't throw away the box as you will need it to set the top of the table on it to put it together. DON'T tighten down screws (keep then semi loose) until it's all together. Then tighten Really nice table. Be sure to use coasters, it is veneer. .

I got mine from Overstock, but I did a quick search and it seems they are no longer available. However, if you search pub stools on Overstock there will be a few stools that would be fine with the table. They are the same as the ones you want but with a different pattern on the stools back rest. If you really are set on the ones pictured with the table, I would contact Overstock and ask if they will be carrying them again.
