i didn't want anymore counter top appliances so this range top pressure cooker set was just what I needed. easy to use, instructions are simple, cooks super fast. I can have shredded pork in an hour or less. I took away one star because the gasket ring is more loose than the last megafesa cooker i bought, can't be sure its sealing as well as could be.
This product allowed me to use all of my favorite cookware on my new induction cooktop range! I had originally planned to order the hybrid model so that I could continue to use all of my glass and stainless pots and pans in addition to my cast iron. This simple converter is so practical - I ordered the full induction range. This smaller size works well and I can use it with my stainless steel pressure cooker. My only reservation about this is the length of the handle-if it were slightly shorter it would store more easily but I consider that a very minor issue. I recommend this to anyone who purchases an induction range and does not want to completely replace their cookware.
This is my second purchase of this brand of pressure cookers that I've purchased for myself. I am from the West Indies, and we use pressure cookers quite often to cook oxtaills and the dried peas and beans we prepare for our daily meals. I gave the first set, which I've had for several years and is still in tip top, shiny as new condition, to my sister. I also bought one for my daughter-in-law (and son), who just move to their new house.
what a great deal! 10 qt AND s/s!!! All for such an incredibly low price. only drawback, if there is one, is that ideally it would be an inch so wider and then a little shallower. This unit is such that you have to stack the meat, like chicken pieces, on top of one another, and esp when it cooks apart, would be easier to handle removing them from pot if the unit was wider. otherwise, its great.
