I have been using the same pot and pans since 1960. Good ole Revere Ware. The Revere Ware is still fine I just wanted something pretty and new. After all these years of raising two boys and taking care of dogs cat, gerbils, pony, ducks, and tropical fish I decided to reward myself with some beautiful Cuisinart cookware. They are red and so pretty in my newly remodeled kitchen. They cook beautifully and I am so happy with them. I am having a hard time getting rid of my Revere Ware though. Guess I will give them to the mission. I'm sure someone needs them.
The former Revere pan had hot spots and I was forever cleaning burnt food from the bottom of it. This Anolon pan does a great job in all respects and it is very easy to clean and I like EASY. I have made another adjustment in my cooking though: I have lowered the heat, but it is still nice to have a high quality pan to cook with.
I updated my thirty year old copper bottom Revere Ware that wasn't working very well with my new glass cooktop. The new set works great! It is substantial, with long handles and cooks most food on medium. No more burned dinner! Clean up is easy with immediate hot soapy water soak. Very good upgrade for me!
