Like how they look but not sure that they will last very long as they do not seem as sturdy as I thought they were. I thought it was all metal but the cooking end was dipped in the rubber but that is not how it is made
I spent many years in the hospitality industry, including cooking professionally, and I can't stand flimsy home utensils! When I used to be able to get around under my own steam, I shopped restaurant supply stores wherever I lived. Can't do that anymore, so online I went, and ended up with this one on Overstock. It's exactly what I needed -- sturdy and extremely functional on the grill or to use with my single favorite piece of cookware: the iron skillet! Nothing makes cooking easier and more enjoyable than having the right tools at your fingertips.
This meat thermometer is perfect for me since I never know when meat is cooked enough without being overdone. It’s compact and easy to read, and slides easily into any cut of meat.
