I noticed folks weren't happy with the clean up. I've used these suckers since back in the 50's. Simply put a slice or two of bread through the grinder to get all the raw meat out of the augur and disk. To clean the disk just use a kabob skewer (buy a package of the wooden ones - the perfect size). I just wish they didn't have to use that rough blown paint for the finish - the old solid steel ones were smoother to the tough. That's the only reason for the 4 rather than the 5 stars.
This is awesome any doubts about it there are none for me perfect size for any hunter you could make 200 pounds out of this in 2 hours way better than a grinder buy it from the sausage man
It was a bit confusing putting it together for the first time. I was happy with the results of processing my tomatoes. The food mill removed all the skins and seeds from the sauce, saving me a lot of time.
