These are cute little tables with decent quality given the low price. Be sure to pay attention to leg placement when assembling. Would have been 4 stars, but one of the legs came warped and the process for getting another one has been a bit of a hassle.
I can't afford the real thing but have always admired this coffee table. When I saw Overstock had several different vendors selling slight variations at reasonable prices I begin to do my research. I ended up buying this one from Tribeca Modern-- and am VERY glad I did. It was a little more expensive than some of the cheaper versions on Overstock, but well worth the price difference. The glass is 3/4" which make a difference in stability and slide. Plus it just looks gorgeous. And the sculptural legs are a bit thicker and definitely steadier. Really beautiful. I love opening the door and seeing it in my very own house. Like coming home to a Henry Moore sculpture. I used a 15% off coupon and feel like I got the deal of the century.
The table itself is beautiful if you can get through the horrible assembly directions. Apparently the country it was made in overseas does not have the same definition of left and right or front and back as the U.S. does. If you get through putting this together after about 3 to 4 hours of doing everything 2 to 3 times over since it is guess work you'll have a really nice looking sofa table.
I bought this table because I wanted a coffee table that could function as a dining table in a pinch. This is exactly right. Very stable 3-legged base eliminates any wobble. Real wood top with solid metal hardware looks and feels very sturdy. No MDF or particleboard here. It cranks up to 30" tall, so a standard dining room chair fits perfectly and it has room for 4. As a cocktail table, it makes a great centerpiece for a conversation area.
