Kitchen tile sample

Not happy to pay $* for a 1inch square of thin tile sample. I would have expected the sample to be a 3 x 6 tile consistent thickness of the tile that mirrors what will ship if I decided to order. I think the color is exactly what I was looking for. However, I am a little concerned now on what the real tile will look like. There of was a paper that came with the tile sample that states the color maybe different and not exact as sample. In the picture below the lower sample is what I received. With this order. The top tile is a 3 x 6 inch tile I receive in another order (glass)
