Foil design doesn't last and rug sheds

Cute and soft HOWEVER: Less than a month of very minimal use and the foil design is completely gone except for the corners. Got this rug for my new house. Once opened and put out it quickly started to fade with very minimal use. It also sheds like crazy. Just barely walking over the rug and once sitting near it you can see parts of it floating in the air. Haven't vacuumed it, but constantly have to vacume around it from it shedding so much. For the price I paid and such minimal use I expected it to last a lot longer than less than a month.
