This rug arrived quickly and packaged securely. The colors are true to the description and pictures online. I have some shedding but that is expected with a wool rug. The rug is plush enough to use without a pad but the rug is on a stone floor and I purchased a pad to protect the rug. When decorating a new room I usually start with a rug. From there I choose fabrics and paint colors. This rug gives me several options and blends well with the existing flooring.
