I have been using my second Deluxe Charcoal Box Grill, for a couple of years now. The first one lasted nearly two years before the charcoal pan rusted out, as this one has now. These grills have a couple of issues: 1- the mild steel charcoal pan does rust out too quickly. However I did replace this one. 2- The generally thin wall construction is too weak to withstand the torque of the lid being raised back to it's resting position, when opened. I fixed this on my second grill by installing a small safety chain on each side of the lid. This prevents the weight of the lid from damaging the back wall of the bottom, when opened too fast. Otherwise, this is a good grill, It would be better if the charcoal pan and lift mechanism were made of stainless steel. I do like the size of the cooking area, the sturdy grate to cook on and the side tables. Therefore, the durability is the only fault I have noticed.
