My designer picked out these pendants to warm up our gray/white kitchen. They are very nice IF you get the right shades. I had one shade come with a big scratch that I returned. Another shade was kind of lop sided. Not too noticeable but I noticed and returned that one too. Now I have two that look great. They are hand blown which is why there are the imperfections. There are no seams. The designer loves them and says he's used them in other homes since ours. And of course the price is great.
I purchased this to hang above my dining table. It is GORGEOUS! The shade is taupey silver color and compliments my dining room. I wish this chandelier was offered in brushed nickel as well.
Beware this will take 3 hours to put together and install, and this was with a friend who had done a chandelier similar to this one. The large crystals need to be put on but the smaller crystals were already put together so that was better. The crystals are not plastic so they shine like real ones with the multi color once the light hits it. The drum is not stainless steel but the crystals need to be reinforced since they get lose, once this is done then you're good to go. again installed it looks more expensive juts be prepared for the time and headache.
I'd been looking at light fixtures for months. Everything I liked seemed to be too small (single bulb pendant lights), too rustic, or too industrial. This is perfect! The wood accent above the drum keeps it from being too modern. Just in case others are wondering, the shade isn't a pure white. It is more of an ivory color.
