I love this chandelier in my front office. Looks really nice with a mirror in the background too. I get a lot of compliments on it! I covered the hanging chain with a white silk chain cover, gorgeous!
I put my Chandelier together this afternoon, had no problems doing so, one I figured out the graphics, however I ended up with an extra nut, and one of the Amber Crystals was broken, guess I'll have to look for a replacement. Luckily, I found a website to purchase Crystals just yesterday because I was looking for Ruby ones to use during the Christmas Holidays with ruby Silk Shades as well. I'll let you know about installation one the electrician gets here tomorrow.
Though made of plastic, it is iridescent and very much resembles glass. Make an evening of its hanging and assembly (there are lots of hooks to join together), and you'll enjoy it greatly. 60 W bulbs in it are too bright; try lower wattage or a dimmer. Ours came missing a piece: one of the faux candlesticks. Be sure to check the box prior to expiration of Overstock's period to make a claim--we waited too long before assembling and noticing it was missing and had to buy a spare candlestick set on *** .
Beautiful! And came with a few extra pieces of crytal (which was good because one of the teardrops came chipped) and I was able to add more drops to what was detailed in the diagrams, which might be my only complaint. I would have liked even more crystals to reflect light and twinkle, but I am delighted with how quickly my electrician put it together and put it up and the price is super-low - a steal for an all-glass/no acrylic chandelier. Since it is in the master bedroom and I hate to look at bare bulbs, I bought white silk shades and it is lovely !
