A great fan, especially if you catch it on sale. Very easy to install. Bracket at junction box to hold fan motor during installation was very convenient. I was concerned about the small size and air movement, but this fan moves a lot of air!!! Lights are the smaller candelabra style bulbs, but at 60w each, there is a ton of light. Fan runs very quiet. It had only a slight wobble after installation, likely from a slightly loose junction box in the existing ceiling(not a fault of the fan). It was easily corrected with the included balancing kit. Would recommend.
This is a beautiful fan that moves a lot of air due to the fan blades. Installed fan and then noticed one of the light globes was broken that was packed next to the motor. Don't want to send back since it is already up. Bulb globes are not very sturdy. Will have to go purchase new ones.
We love this little fan! After moving into our new place, we decided to paint all of the walls and install new light fixtures throughout. The existing light was small, boring and gave off very little light. My partner and I both get warm at night, so we quickly decided that a ceiling fan was the right fit for us. Price was definitely a big factor in choosing this fixture, as there were some more expensive ones that we fell in love with. We were also concerned with the size of the blades, because our ceiling fixture is incredibly off-center (like, someone was apparently drunk and hanging upside down while installing the electrical work). All of those factors led us to this lovely ceiling fan! It works really well, it looks perfect with our decor, it was pretty easy to install (technically, my father-in-law installed it, but it looked easy enough), and it didn't break the bank. Even if we decide to upgrade it down the road, we'd definitely be able to use this elsewhere or it would still have been worth it for the price. Packaging: The box it arrives in is super tiny, so if you're expecting a normal-sized ceiling fan, look at the specs again. This thing is small but mighty. Some reviews mention the poor light output, but it hasn't been a problem for us. We're using it in a 12 x 12 room that has dark blue walls and one large window. We prefer the warm tone of the light and also use lamps on our nightstands as needed. If you need a lot of lighting, you may want to look for a fan that has multiple bulbs. Construction/Materials: The lamp looks pretty high quality and the nickel fixtures are solid and sturdy. The blades are much lighter weight than expected, and the wood grain looks more like a sticker put on (expected, for the price). Once installed, you can't really tell and it looks more expensive than it really is. One cool thing to note is that you can flip the fan blades to the other side for a dark wood look or leave it as the light wood pictured. My only wish is that there would have been 4 blades so we could have alternated the colors. Overall, if you need a simple, stylish and compact ceiling fan...this is probably a good one for you! And you can spend your money on other furniture. Because you know you're going to anyway.
We bought these for our covered porch. So far so good. Very good-looking fan. Only drawback is the white/light motor part since we live in the country and that's likely to get dirty. Fans are quiet and put out a good breeze. Light is really bright, but comfortably so. It actually is made to reflect up on the ceiling so it's more than the ones we had.
