Big, bright lamps! Holy Cow! These lamps are big! And bright! I can now land an airplane in my dining room. Although these are tall like buffet lamps, the shades are really big (although pretty). I was not looking for something quite this big, but after unpacking the lamps (and one did arrive with the bulb base cracked), then reading the directions on how to repack and return them, I decided to just keep them. I can glue the crack, and I may eventually find another spot for them in my house. They are simply too big for the buffet in my dining room. No-one needs THIS much light in the dining room, if you ask me. Although, again, they are pretty lamps.

Good Value I bought these on sale after admiring them months ago. Love the color with a lower wattage light bulb - the shades are very good quality and the base is pretty enough for the price. These aren't "high end" but they are elegant looking in the right room. Works for me in my living room. I can imagine they would be lovely on nightstands in a bedroom also.

Broken lamp. One lamp arrived broken in half. The other lamp was fine. Lamps were average quality and average priced. This is the second time I received damaged merchandise from Overstock. Whoever packages should be more careful.

Buffet lamp Good quality shade is a light grayish blue. Did not work in my living room but used the shades in my bedroom and put a grey silk shade on the lamps. They worked in my living room. Happy with the lamp because the shades worked in the bedroom

They are called Parisian, but I have a Japanese influence in my decorating, and they fit right in. I love them.
