Beautiful Bed, Bad Instructions
Product Option: Beige - King
This bed is beautiful, very heavy, and easy to put together. That being said as others have mentioned Nothing is labeled when you pull out the screw bags I suggest counting matching and labeling with a sharpie first it helps. Next when putting together the frame look ahead to the next picture it helps you determine which way is up, you can remove the bolts easily so make sure you have everything the correct way before placing the smaller screws. This bed took me 3 hours to build by myself you don't really need help but when it comes to the headboard it would be nice to have someone hold the other side I dropped it on my foot 4 times,it might be bruised forever!😂 Had pieces been labeled or words used in the instructions this bed should've taken an hour or less to build it's that easy the difficult part was determining which way pieces went and taking them apart when you got it wrong.

Family fight when putting together
Product Option: Gray - Full
A pain to put together resulting in a family fight but finally done and slightly LOWER to the ground than desired. Bought extra tall mattress and that works

The Carson Carrington Ulvsta Mid-century fabric platform bed is a good looking bed. But that's about it. Read carefully as this bed has some serious issues. 1- construction: This is a hard bed to construct. This is not the type bed you take the pieces out of the box and tighten a few screws, No. I teach engineering, and took me 4 hours of hard labor to build this bed. It is very labor intensive as there are lots of parts. There instructions are minimal and basically based on a poorly drawn picture. How hard is it to pay someone to write you instructions in English? The many parts are labeled!! You have to guess, make lots of mistake, unscrew parts and figure it out by trial and error. 2- The bed is not entirely made of solid wood, there are parts made of MDF covered with a skin that looks like natural wood patter. I don't think most people realize this. 3- the fabric covered headboard wreaks with smell of strong chemicals. Mine has been airing out for weeks and still smells awful. 4- Now the biggest problem with this bed is the SLATS. There is a good 5 inch gap between the slats. How could it be a platform of any kind with these large 5 inch gaps. It's a shame, they tried to save money in the wrong place, they ruined this bed by being cheap. There is no way you could just put a memory foam mattress or a futon mattress on top of this bed as it is. I did, and the mattress sagged through the slat gaps. So now I have to either buy a box spring, which would defeat the low height profile of the bed, or buy different slats. I'm. Dry disappointed, I was not asking for an extra project. 5- The bed creaks as you roll over the bed. They could have used Velcro to attach the slats to the frame, again they cheapened out, the result is a creaky noisy bed. So one star taken off for the horrible instruction or lack of. One star take off for the offensive odor. One star take out for the huge gap between slats. And finally a star taken out for the noises.

Beautiful bed! Very sturdy, and looks better in person. I highly recommend 2 people to assemble, and some assemble is extremely nerve-racking due to angles

Awesome Bed
Product Option: Gray - Queen
Love this but too many parts or rather too many bolts and washers to use to put together...Had to have an expert come in and do it. It turned out great..a little too low but can work with it.

Good sturdy bed frame. The colour of the headboard was not as light as we'd hoped. We gave the headboard a Scotch Guard treatment and it still looks great after 6 mo. of use.

What a great bed! Purchased for my daughters apartment and it's perfect. Very sturdy and looks way more expensive than it was. Great mid century vibe and adds a nice organic touch.

I love this bed. I put it together myself in about 3 hours with breaks to take care of the kiddos. The only suggestion I have is to sort the bolts by size and put them into piles with labels. They are all almost the same size, but when you get to the end you might realize that you use the wrong bolt at some point, like I did. And then I was left with one that was too short to keep the headboard on, my fault. The bed is pretty easy to assemble, the pictures in the instructions aren't great though so read through them well. The bed seems pretty solid, but a few of the screws wouldn't go in all way so I had to replace them. There are two zippers on that back that open to use as a handle when lifting the headboard. Well my zippers broke off so now there are two open holes in the back of my headboard which really annoys me. I have a feeling my cat might find new place to sleep soon. Either way it's a very nice bed frame but I wouldn't pay over $*** for it.
