Update: I’ve had this table for two days and haven’t used it yet. I just noticed two small scratches on the top. No idea what could have scratched the thin, delicate veneer. This table is low quality junk. The table is cute, but not worth more than $150. The top has nice looking veneer, and the legs appear to be edge-glued wood. Some of the stain is uneven on the legs, but not noticeable unless they're at eye-level.The pieces that form the mechanics of the top are mdf, and there is a thin layer of felt to ease friction. My table arrived with a cracked support that allows the top to slid back and forth. I will reinforce that piece as I don't want to deal with exchanging it. This is not 10-year furniture, maybe 1-3 years.

Perfect tables. I bought two of these tables so I can butt them up against each other and create a dining table for 10. Works wonderfully! I love how the legs remain centered when it opens so there is ample leg room for my guests and it's not obvious that it's an extendable table. When it's folded, I use one table for my piano keyboard and another for a couch console/laptop desk.
