I am sorry to say the assembly task took hours and at the end the boards were warped, the screws wouldn't stay in and nothing fit together. What a waste of time and effort, only to have to box it up and haul it to UPS for a return. Hoping the return goes smoothly. Really sorry this didn't work out.
Multiple piece had edges that were not finished. I didn't realize this until I was halfway through assembly. I had to go to the hardware store and buy a small can of stain to make it match. This brings me to my second issue of the finish, it is only stained. There is no clear coat so I worry about how it will hold up.
This looks great, and I'm happy with it now, but it was a bear to assemble. Instructions weren't clear, and pictures were straight up wrong. It arrived a bit banged up, but not in a material way. We kept it bc it fit our space.
Good choice to hold a 55" TV - the configuration of the item hides all the cords, which is why I chose it. Relatively easy assembly - 2 hours and 144 screws, but directions were excellent.
Great tv stand, console. color is as pictured, not too difficult to put together. Perfect size for our large TV with nice room for storage.
It took me roughly 4 hours to assemble the thing. The bags containing the 200+ pieces of hardware were mislabeled, but had the correct quantities with a few spares. All the pieces out of the box were in good condition. The walnut color was darker and duller than I was hoping for. It seems like just the sides of the pieces that end up visible had a smooth finish. One piece required cleaning because the adhesive they used to fill a wood void was all over the place. I'm mainly disappointed in the drawers. The side pieces arrived without stain - despite the product photos clearly showing them stained. The wood-on-wood sliding mechanism is disappointing. The baseboard doesn't instill confidence. Opening and closing the drawers results in them moving side-to-side instead of strictly forward and back. Fully assembled the unit looks how you'd expect and it holds my TV fine. Overall, I feel the quality could be better.
I have not put this together yet, but it seems to be great strong material.
Slightly lighter in color and more even as regards wood grain than expected based on photos, but still works very nicely in our small apartment living room. A average difficulty to assemble, but directions correct and all parts present. The open shelves are great for displaying a few tchotchkes, and I plan to store photo albums and games in the drawers. Drawer slides are wood, and drawers are not designed for heavy use, but fine for our purposes. Overall a very pretty piece—nice balance to the design, looks much more expensive than it is.
Looks like a nice piece of furniture. Is made of wood. I really wanted one to put phono albums but the ones with that space were fake wood. The color of the stain is perfect for a variety of wood tones in the mid-century range.
Great piece! It seems fairly well made. Sits at a perfect height. Color is exactly as shown in picture. Drawers are not on slides but still open and close easily. Arrived undamaged. Had a high school senior boy assemble for me. He had no complaints about assembly which was great. Very pleased with this purchase!
