Loved stool so much I got 4 more for another room
Don't know which I like more - the look or the quality. I wanted form AND function and this stool offers both. It's a sturdy stool that comfortably holds a large man. Love the swivel feature so I don't worry about scratching my wood floors. I looked at thousands of stools online and in stores and once I saw this one, none compared. I like that it's unique looking (unlike most others - same old same old). I bought two tall ones for the bar height end of my kitchen counter and loved them so much I ordered four more for my game room. FYI the assembly was easy BUT after a learning curve on the first one I found it's important to loosely screw in the four screws which attach the foot ring, and only after all screws are attached to go back and tighten all the screws (pulling each chair leg in) otherwise foot ring remains away from the legs.

Only negative is that they did not come with pads or floor protectors on the bottom of the legs. The legs were pre-drilled like there was supposed to be something to insert. We went to our local home store and purchased screw in floor protectors, however, some of the pre/drilled holes were off center and we had to Redrill to have them centered. What I like most about the stools are that the foot rails are metal so they will withstand repeated shoes scraping on them unlike the wooden painted version of other stools. The concave backs are also very comfortable!

When looking for barstools for our counter height island/bar we fell in love with these stools. The problem was that the “counter height” stools looked like they would be way too short, so we ended up choosing the bar height stools, measuring how much lower we thought they needed to be, then my husband cut the legs to that height. I was quite scared to have to cut our brand new stools, but so thankful we chose to go this route. They look great, sit great, and we get compliments on them w everyone who sees them! Well built and sturdy!

While these are nice chairs beware that they may send you a return and try to pass it off as new. Out of (4) chairs bought, 1 had a tear in the seat and one was an obvious return (all the pieces thrown in a box).

First and last time customer
Omg I can’t believe overstock would want me to write a review. First they didn’t ship the both chairs so I had to inquire and then the first chair they sent was damaged and then the second chair was damaged also. Then I had to package the second chair up and return it. Besides that the chair legs are uneven and the quality is horrific and the customer service is atrocious. It’s easy to use the customer service just text them and they respond in awhile like maybe a few hours or so. Wouldn’t it be cheaper to sell a quality chair?
