I purchased these barstools for my new home because I was tired of the metal industrial look ones and the backless saddle types (personal preference at this time). They were easy to assemble. The color can vary depending on the lighting. I chose these ones because of the material and the stitching (non zigzag). They are very modern and contemporary. Easy to clean with a toddler running around. I also liked that the came with rubber stoppers on the bottom to prevent flooring to get damaged. These chairs are good quality and heavy duty.

Love these counter height chairs. They are comfortable and the perfect height for my kitchen island. The color is a true dark brown. The description states they are 39 inches tall, but they are actually 35 inches from the floor to the top of the back of the chair. I had all 4 chairs assembled in about 40 min. You can't beat the price. I highly recommend these counter height chairs.

These chairs are very good quality, heavy bases and fabric (?) on chairs seems as if it will hold up well over time. They were easy to put together. Very comfortable to sit in. Lots of complements at Thanksgiving. Only con is they do sit a bit further out from the counter than I would like but if you measure you'll know what to expect. My overhang is a bit narrower than standard.

The height to the seat is 24 inches and 34 inches to the back of the seat. There is often confusion between a counter height and bar height. These stools are counter height and are only 24 inches. I believe the reviewer may have been describing the bar height if it was that high.
