I dont care for the desk at all but my mother wanted it so I got it for her. It's nice to have 4 shelves but for a messy person, it's going to show off all of your mess. The pattern on the shelves isnt the most pleasant either.

We have 8 of these desks. A breeze to put together and perfect for our setup. There is a reason we have 8 of these desks - laptops plus monitor and external keyboard and mouse all fit comfortably on the desk. The shelves make storage very easy and accessible.
The desk was easy to put together. Great quality for the price. Extremely durable and very sturdy. Solid construction. Very pleased with my purchase.
The perfect desk for my son's needs. (He wrote the title and sent photos of the assembly in process, which took him an hour by himself after a friend helped carry the heavy box into his room.) He works with an iPad and fills the open shelves with all of his gaming and electronic gizmos. It was a good gift investment.
The "salvaged wood" is a laminate finish with a lot of white in it... not as pictured. The desk is sturdy, true to Carbon Loft, but the finish is very fake looking.
