The bad news is it took me 3 hours to put this together, the good news is that it was worth it. Don't be overwhelmed by all the pieces and hardware that comes in the box. When completed as directed its a beautiful piece of furniture, very sturdy, good quality. I added lighting inside and use it as a glass and liquor cabinet, very nice.
I purchased one cabinet with glass and one with solid panels. They stack very nicely but the color (white) is slightly off on them. One is much yellower than the other. I bought them about 5 months apart and in my dining room the lighting isn't very good so you can't notice, but if you have an open dining you will be able to notice
Hi Guys. My husband and I finished assembling this a couple of days ago. I took us about 4.5 hours total and we used a electric screwdriver(a must). The piece is very sturdy(It came in 3 boxes weighing about 150 lbs total). It is a lighter finish than the picture on the computer. A couple of hints to help with assembly. 1. Lay out all the parts and screws before hand. (I think a couple of screws were numbered wrong in ours) 2. work in very good lighting. The instructions refer several times to the 'finshed side'. The finished side and unfinished side look very similar unless held up in very good lighting.
A really nice piece of furniture but there was a small scratch on the glass and one of the doors did not have the pre-drilled holes so we had to measure and try to make sure that the hinges were put in the correct spot in order for the door to close.
