First two day I almost wanted to return it because it's too firm. But after sleeping on it for a week. My back pain is gone. Now I sleep and wake up happy.
Definitely the most firm mattress I have tried. The firm side seems firmer than other companies advertising firm and the extra firm is next level firm I don't think you can get firmer than that unless you sleep on the floor on a yoga mat . I went with the hybrid version so there is less risk of dips forming. Dips forming was the issue with my last mattress and I think it's part of the reason I had back pain. If you are over 6' I definitely recommend the California king size. I use to struggle with my feet sticking out my bed but not an issue anymore.
I already owned another Plank mattress. I loved it so much I bought this one for a guest room. I prefer firm mattresses, but I have found other manufacturer's mattresses that are classified as firm are far from it! Even better, the Plank mattress is flippable so you can extend the life of your mattress as well. One side is firm and the other extra firm. I personally use the extra firm side and it is heavenly. Nothing worse than sleeping on a soft mattress! The mattress comes rolled and inflates almost instantly as soon as you take the plastic off. The mattress does weigh quite a bit. The twin mattress I purchased here is manageable for one person, but anything larger you really could use an extra set of hands to get it on the bed as well as flip it. I have had the first mattress I purchased from Plank directly for almost six years and it still feels great. I expect to have this twin even longer!
Love this mattress! Extra firm like we wanted and double sided..really hard to find extra firm any more even when they call it so..this one really is extra firm.
My search is finally over for years. I've searched for the perfect dad spending thousands of mattresses I come across this and thought wow what a deal not only was it a deal it's very supportive and gives you two supportive options from side to side. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a firm sleep, it's my forever mattress when that comes time to replace it I will just simply buy this again .

Firm and comfortable
This bed is like laying on a floor on one side and soft sinking in on the other side. It's a rip off. I called and wrote to you about it and this is not what was promised or I ordered. It's awful and I'm a 199% service connected disabled Navy veteran. I belong to every vet organization and I have a big mouth and I'm furious. It feels like there's no springs in this bed just cotton or foam. It's gross. I want you to pick it up and read what I ordered and give me a firm bed on one side and perform on the other side. You are giving a discount to vets then giving them a bottom of the barrel reject mattress. You wouldn't sleep on this why should I . I do not want my money back I want what I asked for. You can plaster any name on any mattress. Be righteous and do the right thing. Call me and pick this up and give me what I ordered. It's supposed to be firm on one side no matter where you lie down and flippable super firm on the other side not feel like your lying on the floor.
