My first order from Overstock. Well.... the roman shades I ordered and the ones I got are somewhat different. The picture shows a more flatter and wider slats on the blinds. The ones I received are very narrow and rounded. The color is different. There is a darker area every 3 inches or so all the way down the blind. Kept them anyways. Worst.....I ordered 3 shades and 1 was missing the brackets to hang them. Had to call and return the bad set and wait for a replacement.
I think these blinds (I bought 4) are a good value for the money - but with 2 reservations. First - these are described as "roman shade" style. I would consider the lift action to be "roman shade" style, but you will not have any "fold effect" on the front. When the shade is drawn up it will appear rolled - not folded. Second, the factory sent them bound with clear adhesive tape which left a residue on the front of the blinds. This was disappointing because it made extra work for me before I could hang them. Installation is super easy - you just need a power drill and measuring tape. I will probably buy a few more - but these should be identified as "rolling blinds@ not "roman shades".
I like these for the most part! The only thing that I don't enjoy about these roman shades are that they seem to be tilted most of the time. If you push them up, one side is always taller than the other. It really takes away from how beautiful they are. Hopefully they can fix this. I would have returned them, but it would have been too much of a hassle.
