This iron is excellent, it is heavy and does not stick, steams nicely and always leaves a nice smooth finish. Reminds me of the iron my grandmother used to keep our clothes neat and crisp.

    • Can't figure out indicator lights???
      Reviewed at

There's nothing in the instructions about the different indicator light colors. As soon as I plug it in the light is GREEN. So that can't mean it's heated up to the temperature on the dial. Then there's a yellow light and sometimes a red one. The instructions don't say anything about the different colors and what they mean? This is used as a craft iron and I would really like to know when it's at the right temperature. Probably going to replace it with something else that I know when it's really hot.

I wish i had returned this iron after the first ironing. This iron spits and mess your clothes up, wouldn't recommend this iron to anyone; read the REVIEWS before you buy this product

Have had about a year and only use it to iron fabric. Have been so careful to place on the floor on a hot pad so the cat can't knock it down. Used it yesterday, unplugged it and it started leaking water really bad.

The Best Iron I've ever owned! When I first received the iron, it wasn't as heavy as I expected. Parts of it I thought to be metal, were plastic, so I had my doubts. However, during the first use, I fell in love. I've used it regularly for the past 2 weeks, and I've had no problems. It gets the wrinkles out quite easily despite it being lighter than my newer, crappy Shark. The iron does not leak out white residue like my Shark and other high dollar irons I've had. It heats up quickly, does not shut off right away during your ironing session breaks, and the constant steam without having to hold down any buttons is a welcomed feature. The pointed end and button grooves make it easy to maneuver around buttons. No worries here. Recommend to all.

    • Awesome Iron!
      Reviewed at

I have been using this iron for a couple of weeks now and I love it! Hands down one the best irons I've personally owned. Very true to it's name, it has the feel of a nice, heavier weight iron and is very reminiscent of older "classic" irons. It glides very easily, has one dial to adjust the temperature and doesn't leak. It fills easily and everything I've ironed with it so far has been nice and pressed. So simple to use- fill it and plug it in nothing fancy about it. I have also noticed that this iron doesn't sputter and leave watermarks like myolder iron used to. Highly recommended!

    • An iron is an iron is an iron etc.

I've had this iron for several months now and I love it. It has the heft of a good tool. Most irons have plastic parts, so you have to actually provide pressure as well as moving the iron across the fabric. This iron is stainless steel and heavy enough that it's own weight provides the pressure, so if you're ironing a whole load of laundry there is less effort involved. Plus, it actually get wrinkles out. I hate it when you are ironing cotton or silk and when you are done there are still those subtle wrinkles that don't come out, no matter how much time you spend trying to iron them smooth. This iron does what an iron is supposed to do, no more no less. What a relief. Worth all the bells and whistles in the world... It irons! Simple, yeah. I know.

    • Not as good as it used to be
      Reviewed at

I bought this iron several months ago, and I'm very unhappy with it! The iron spits water out constantly from the bottom, and leaks from the reservoir opening. I have taken to putting just a tad bit of water in the iron to use on the steam setting to try to avoid the water spitting out. Even that doesn't seem to help. I can never iron something at the last minute because all of the water spitting out leaves the clothes damp. I am ironing right now, and have decided that I am throwing this iron away and going back to another brand that I used prior. The newer version of the Classic iron is certainly not as well-made as the original.

    • Great for crafts!
      Reviewed at

I received this product for free. I normally do not use an iron on clothes but I do use an iron for craft projects. My boyfriend and I have been looking for a heavier iron to use on perler bead projects. We loved the weight of the iron as well as how quickly it warmed up. The downside to the iron is that all the metal heats up so it can be very hot to the touch. I would recommend this iron to anyone that does a lot of craft projects that require a heavy iron.
