This is very cheaply made. Like some of the other reviewers, I had to support it by wedging it into the wall so it would not topple over. The edges do not align and it is very flimsy. You have to nail 50 screws into the back cardboard piece to affix it to the frame. There was no mention of a cheap plastic/cloth strap that needs to attach to the wall to secure the unit. I was very disappointed, had to drill in extra screws and will be returning the product.

I could have gotten the very same bookshelf in Target or Walmart for 1/2 the price. It cannot be moved anymore because it is made of wood product and cardboard. VERY disappointed!

I was very disappointed with this product. This is the first time I have purchased and item for Overstock and we extremely disappointed. The unit does not stand up; we had to go to our local hardware store to purchase extra brackets to keep it from falling. The board for the back, we had to purchase another as it was not sturdy enough. We spend another $10-25 at the hardware. On the verge of putting it in the garbage.

Bought four of these bookcases ... the first one we didn't look at the directions close enough (be sure to study before you start and look for the slight shades in the illustrations - this will tell you where the black and the wood should be aligned so even colors appear at production end). Each box contained all parts/screws and no scratches anywhere. Don't know how long these will last ... tried to move one and it started to topple, then fell apart, ripping partical board and ended up in the trash. Good for displays or not a lot of use.
