Winters up north ruin bird baths with cracking and pealing of the glazes. This stands up to all of that. Easy to clean. Light weight and easy to move around. I use a bird bath heater to keep the water from becoming ice and this works wonderfully well with that.
The bird bath is constructed of lightweight plastic for the top and metal legs. We live in a New England state and I'm wondering whether the bird bath will withstand winter winds and stay upright. That said, it is working just fine right now and our feathered neighbors are enjoying it every day. I would still recommend it for someone who needs a heated bird bath.
