a great addition to any room. well packed and easy to put together. wish they wouldn't use so much styrofoam though, as it is hugely bad for the environment.
Purchases this bench for my living area near the foyer of my mid-century modern house. The bench is made of solid material. The only minor complaint is that the design of the two bench rails lends to a bit less "sturdiness." While solid materials, the bench can sway just slightly from side to side. I added some larger washers that I had on hand, "Liquid Nails" adhesive to the bolts and used my own allen wrench to tighten. That solved the problem!
I bought this bench for the back entry way of our 50's mid-century styled beach house. A good knock-off for a great price! I love the two tone wood and the low profile. I specifically love that it is slatted so dirt/sand falls through it (sand is a constant here). The biggest thing I don't like is that it tips easily if you sit on the edge of it (which my 3 year old does regularly). I'm thinking of attaching a small piece of wood on the front of the legs so it doesn't tip. It will ruin the look a bit, but function better over all. I am keeping it, but if I had known it was tippy, I probably would have looked for something with 90 degree legs instead of angled. If you sit in the middle (like most adults), it is quite sturdy.
