After years of sleeping on a queen bed we decided to upgrade to a king. The bedroom furniture we had was a unique wood finish, expensive, and in excellent shape so we just wanted to find a bed that would blend with the rest of the furniture. We wanted a low profile footboard and simple lines. After looking at literally 100's of beds online, we found this bed. It was delivered in 3 boxes and it was required some time to assemble but the directions were easy and all the parts were easy to put together. It is a solid piece of furniture, heavy and beautiful. While not the same finish as the existing furniture, it blends well with it and looks wonderful in the Master bedroom.
This bed frame is exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy and easy to assemble. The color is a tad bit more pewter or silver but overall still a great color.
The bed looks good and was put together by my adult daughter. The color is a bit weird, but not bad. It is described as "brushed pewter" which I think of as silver, but the picture looks like bronze. In reality it looks antiqued gold on brown. I would have preferred the bronze with no antiquing, but, again, it looks good. The tall headboard is in two pieces and a little looser than shorter one piece metal headboards I have in other rooms. You need to really push hard to set it more firmly to the lower half, but it still wiggles a bit. Overall, I'm content. Just be aware it is not a bronze brown, but an antique brown/gold.
