After years of sleeping on a queen bed we decided to upgrade to a king. The bedroom furniture we had was a unique wood finish, expensive, and in excellent shape so we just wanted to find a bed that would blend with the rest of the furniture. We wanted a low profile footboard and simple lines. After looking at literally 100's of beds online, we found this bed. It was delivered in 3 boxes and it was required some time to assemble but the directions were easy and all the parts were easy to put together. It is a solid piece of furniture, heavy and beautiful. While not the same finish as the existing furniture, it blends well with it and looks wonderful in the Master bedroom.
I loved everything about this bed except the wood slates. I knew what I was getting from the photos so I was prepared for that. I left my bed on the metal frame we already had it on and simply put this together around it. Because this bed is for my toddler and their mattress and box springs are light it would probably hold up pretty well, but I just thought it looked a bit weak. They blend well and make a really finished look. The bed its self was easy to put together and took no time at all.
We bought this for our king size bed, the only drawback was we had to wait several weeks for this to be delivered. It was worth the wait because it goes beautiful with the furniture that I have in my bedroom. It's heavy duty it's detailed it's beautifully finished. Assembly was easy, and we will enjoy it for years to come
Classy, well made metal head and foot board. Bought it to go with a walnut California Modern bedroom set. The brushed nickel finish was a perfect match for the understated mid-century cast metal pulls.
