Really happy with this bed. Like the other reviewers said, I was able to put this together in about 10 minutes, by myself. I bought a Casper mattress and Casper bedding, and in heaven. I put everything together in about 45, putting the duvet cover on the comforter was probably the hardest part. Very good quality. The underbed clearance is about 6 inches so it doesn't have enough room for my underbed containers.
This bed feels well constructed and has a nice look for my needs. Looks great in a contemporary-styled bedroom. The grey cloth is both attractive and durable. The padding below the cloth feels adequate to comfortably conceal the structural components below. The bed arrived in a box and was able to be assembled by using a few simple tools within an hour or so. There is a spine of slats that attach together and run all along the bottom, from head to foot. This is a well made bed. This bed survived a flood this year and after the flood waters had receded, I was able to examine it closely and I've decided that it was not damaged; you can't even tell it had been in a flood, and its just as strong as before, so I'm hanging onto it. The clearance of this bed is unique in that there is more room under the bed once you get past the initial lip of the bed. I like having the lip around the bed as it gives it the platform look and you can also sit things there like your cell phone or watch or whatever. When I was remodeling I got some chalky dust on the cloth on this bed as dry wall was being hung. No worries. A little cleaning spray and a cloth and it wipes clean. Still looks great! I'm very pleased with this bed. If I have to buy another one, I'll get this design again.
Nice looking, not too difficult to put together. Sturdy. Only complaint is that I had asked a question about the clearance underneath and was told it was approx 6-7" off of the ground, but it is not - there is maybe 4" of clearance
