Have 2 twin beds in a rental that I can convert to a king using this frame topped w/2 twin mattresses. Works great and allows for storage of twin frames plus other stuff. Frame is heavy for me, very sturdy; flips out easy enough. A man would have no problem; two people-piece of cake to sein place. Once set it doesn't move. Metal legs, 9, dig into carpet so suggest casters or rubber tips, even for hard floor. Perfect solution for my purpose. Have used a queen frame w/air mayyress and worked great. Suspect a king air would be same.
This is such a versatile bed frame! For the past year or so my daughter has been sleeping in her little brothers' room on the top bunk, but she's recently decided she'd like to move back into her own room. Her old bed had broken slats and the frame itself was huge, too big for the small room, so I needed to get a new frame that would be smaller, but I had reservations because she may decide to move back into her brothers' room. An adjustable frame was the perfect solution! We are considering upgrading from a queen to a king size in our own room, so if my daughter DOES decide to move back we can use this frame for our new bed! Anyway, it was super easy to assemble, no problem, and it's nice and compact in her small room. I'd definitely recommend to someone who needs a versatile, well made frame for their bed!
