My sister has one of these rugs as a runner. I liked it so much, that I bought two for myself. It is a thicker rug, and is definitely not soft under foot. However, if you want to add neutral texture to your room, this is great.
In person the rug is much thicker than it appears in the photos. It didn't lay completely flat and already looked worn. I was hoping to use it in a high traffic area in our home, but the material did not look like it would last. Ended up returning.
