...You attach the faucets. I would have given this five stars except for one flaw with the design. We put on our standard faucets and everything looked beautiful. Then you turn the water on and see that the faucet barely hangs far enough over the edge of the counter to reach the sink. The water makes it into the sink by about 1/2 inch (if that makes sense). Thus, if you try to use the water near the faucet it makes a mess everywhere. Makes it difficult to wash your hands and not get water everywhere. Other than that the vanity is a beautiful color. The soft close doors are a nice feature. We also love the rectangular sinks. I searched endlessly for a vanity for our master bath and was so excited to have this installed. Like I said, had the faucet holes been drilled closed to the sink and allowed for normal sink usage, this would have gotten five stars. Disappointed that this was overlooked by the designers of the piece.
the finished product looks nice however... the assembly was a pain in the you know what! you assemble the top portion and bottom parts separately and then put them together and that's where things got difficult... i was pretty much on the last step and couldn't get them together finally with my boyfriends help after struggling together we were finally able to get it together but it took forever. The other issue is the bottom cross bar its not placed well it should be lower or higher because its right where our water valve is... so i moved the bar up and only screwed in one set of screws rather than 2 like it should be because there was no other way to make it work... and after all that effort getting it assembled there is no way i wanted to return it! I do like it now that it is done and all but truthfully i am not sure i would buy it again... i almost bought 2 so i would have one for my guest bathroom and i am very glad i decided not to. I will say that it seems very sturdy and looks very nice once complete.
I have been using my renovated bathroom for less than two weeks and I have already had to sharpie all over the edges of this vanity. Every little thing seems to nick it, revealing white spots. This piece is okay- the quality and finish of the wood is nothing to be excited over. The marble top and square sinks are my favorite parts. I wish I had spent more money on something nicer.
This was one of those purchases from Overstock that makes me feel like you really do get what you pay for. The quality is cheap, marble-like shelves look really cheap and the finish on the metal looks cheap as well. But, because I have in a water closet that is not in full view from the rest of the master suite bathroom, I can cover it with towels and you don't notice it as much.
