Mine arrived with a broken mirror. The seller quickly processed a refund. Since I had a "free" cabinet, I tried to replace the mirror myself. It was less than *** at a local glass shop. I measured the mirror itself and used those dimensions instead of asking for a 16x20 piece. The door is a sandwich with a flimsy plastic flap (attached to the hinge), a layer of cardboard, and the mirror itself. It is all held together by a sheet metal U-channel bent around the edges and held together by a screw. If you try replacing the glass mirror, either be sure that you get the right thickness, or replace the cardboard layer with soft foam. I think the mirror I got was too thick, and I used the cardboard that came with it. It was VERY difficult to get the channel back on, and I ended up cracking the replacement while making the attempt. The cabinet itself is essentially a cheap plastic pan. Looks like it would work perfectly well, and it seemed sturdy enough for what I would have put in it. In the end, I paid three times as much for a nicer unit which arrived in a padded shipping box suspended by foam corners inside a giant shipping box. The mirrors in that one arrived intact. If I had another bathroom to re-do, I'd try ordering this one again in a heartbeat. The price to quality ratio of this one is exactly right for a spare bathroom.
Excellent fit for medium size powder room. Reasonable price. Sturdy and solid with great transitional look. Love the top and color. Arrived well packaged and was in excellent condition. We did the installation ourselves and it was very simple. I did have to get a smaller basket for the shelf as the plumbing wouldn't allow me to slide the matching basket on the shelf. If I wanted to move plumbing and patch walls, I guess I could have used the given basket, but it seemed purchasing a different basket was the less expensive option. I am pleased with the final look.
I have a large bathroom with my focal pint being the wall that housed the vanity. This stand alone piece of furniture along with matching oval mirrors and Antique Brass light fixtures and accessories completed the Old World European look I was going for. The vanity is packed extremely well for transit. The wood in the picture is actually lighter than in person. I would say it is a deep cherry, and I actually found the darker wood gave the piece a much richer look. If you like it lin the pix you'll love it in person.
