In my spare bathroom in my train room I only had a mirror and no medicine cabinet. I am often in my garage just out the back door of my family room where that bathroom is and I often cut myself and need to administer first aid to myself as I live alone. This medicine cabinet is a snap to install and requires no special knowledge. You will just love it.
First, I have to say in the NoVA area, CEVA shipping delivered on a rain/snow day. It was miserable weather. The two guys carried the 3 parts up 3 flights. They were awesome!!! I tipped them well. For the vanity - it's a beautiful piece. Well designed and crafted. I'm VERY happy that it comes without faucets, and I was able to choose my own. I got Kohler Forte faucets in brushed stainless, and they look great!! I LOVE the green glass top. There are a couple of cons below, but overall, I'm VERY happy with this vanity. The colors of the glass top and the vanity are totally true to what is delivered. Everyone who has seen it has nothing but praise. A couple of cons - (1) I wish they at least had the OPTION of a backsplash. The green glass top is beautiful, but hard to match in a back splash. (I ended up buying a brushed stainless sheet from Home Depot. Different - but it looks good.) (2) the doors have the soft close hinges, but not the drawers. (3) the shelves inside the cabinet part are EXACTLY where the plumbing lines go rendering the shelves totally useless. I had to buy the Rubbermaid wire shelves, and they work fine.
Cabinet arrived within a week requiring full assembly. It took my husband about an hour to put it together. We are using it in a small bathroom to store extra toilet paper and personal hygiene items. The cabinet is very pretty, has nice "stainless" colored pulls and hinges, and compares nicely to one that sold for over $400 in a local home improvement store. There is a very strong odor inside the cabinet when first assembled that dissipates if you are able to let it sit outside with the door open for a few hours.
This shelf and dual towel rack combo is perfect for our tiny bathroom. It's compact while leaving plenty of room between the rods to hang towels and let them air dry. The shelf is just big enough for the few things we need to keep on it like a tray of extra soap bars. The metal has a good shine to it and looks great if you've got silver/steel nearby to compliment it. Even without using the screw anchors, the rack feels pretty sturdily attached to the wall. The unit is light weight, but I've bought similar products, so I wasn't surprised. It's a decent quality and should last several years at least.
