This fixture matches well with other rubbed bronze fixtures, but does not have copper or brown colored highlights, it is solid black with no brown highlights. Its color fits well with my various rubbed bronze bathroom fixtures, including towel racks, toilet paper dispensers, faucets, etc. It's 8-inch length reaches well into my large soaking tub from the wall, but is not too long as to be an obstruction when in the tub. It reaches past the arm rests in my soaking tub so the water goes to the tub bottom and doesn't splash on the arm rests. It will work well for wall mount kitchen or bath faucets. The spout has a standard US (IPS) female threaded connection that fits standard plumbing threads for a shower neck or bathtub spout, so you can use a standard 1/2 inch threaded pipe to connect it to your plumbing. It has no aerator or screen in the tip to impeded water flow, which I like, but some may not. The tip does screw off if you'd like to put an aerator on it. The metal is cast brass, very solid and well made. Good quality!
This is the medium height Sloan sensor faucet. No special connection or additional parts needed- both hot & cold are plumbed into it and flow of each adjusted below the sink to create the right temp. Prefer this to the Grohe we used to have. Beautiful geometric design. Better prices here than faucet.com or build.com.
This turned our shower into a spa! Worked fantastic with older plumbing!! Easy to install and didn't take long to apply! I am sure you'll love this too!
The faucet looks exactly as pictured. I'm a confident DIYer, so I didn't find installation too daunting during my bathroom remodeling. I had a plumber come out and he quoted $800 to fix my bathtub so I decided to push up my own sleeves and bite the bullet with redoing my own plumbing. I have a really unique, old cast iron tub that simply didn't work with any stock faucets in my local hardware stores so I ended up finding this and fell in love with the aesthetic of it and was super happy to see it worked with my tub's clearances. So with $20 of additional parts (including some much needed cut-off valves) and this faucet, my tub was brought back to life and usefulness. I didn't personally find the install too difficult but I also measured everything beforehand and knew what would fit and what modifications I would need for my specific tub. I absolutely LOVE the waterfall look and feel, it's like a bit of a spa in your own home. I did ding it one star because the hot and cold aren't marked and my guests, for whatever reason, seem to routinely have trouble figuring out how to turn it and the shower on (which is its own separate unit), so the handles are sometimes twisted off in their confusion -- easy fix, but it would be nice if the confusion was avoided all together. I've had the faucet for a year and 9 months as of right now and it still works flawlessly and hasn't had any leaks or dripping issues.
