Once fully assembled, the product looks great and fits neatly into a small space. However, it was a pain to assemble (and it didn't come with an instruction manual--I had to e-mail and request one). Several of the pre-drilled holes into the sides (particle board underneath the finish) had fractured and splintered. Several of the screws that held the door hinges in place would not stay in, a problem that had to be solved with some wood glue. Nothing was damaged in an extreme manner such that the whole thing had to be sent back, but overall it looked like care was NOT taken with the product during shipping--either when it was imported or when it was shipped to me. Overall, be cautious; this is one product that can turn out great, even with a lot of trouble in the assembly phase. Or it could all be nothing but a big pain if the parts are badly damaged before they get to you.
This bar is great looking and well made. The instructions are straight forward and very easy to follow. With one person it was a little tougher than having two people, but it can be built with one person just took about 4 hours or so. This included unboxing the bar as well. The bar when it is finished looks great! Very heavy real oak wood! Great buy for the product and price!
It is exactly what we expected, came in two days, and my husband put it together very easy following the instructions. The finish is great and the top surface matches perfect with the dinning set I bought from a well known furniture store for it's products quality, so we are more than happy. The price is the best.
I have been considering this cabinet for a long time. I wanted it to coordinate with an existing dining room set. I was concerned about the finish and the color since I could not see it in person. I finally broke down and purchased it. It was delivered late yesterday and we assembled it last night. It is packed wonderfully, but one piece was damaged despite such (the bottom of the cabinet in the back). Because of the area of damage, we decided to continue with its assembly. The damage is only visible from the unfinished back of the cabinet. It took approximately four hours for two people to assemble it. The instructions are pictures and diagrams and it would be more beneficial if some of the pieces were identified better. They are labeled, but in the early assembly stages, when you do not know where the piece will be sitting once fully assembled, sometimes you can assemble a piece the reverse of how it should be. The finish is beautiful. The cabinet compliments our dining room wonderfully. I would have given it five stars but for the one damaged piece and the sometimes confusing instructions.
