These bar stools are great and are exactly what I was looking for. I searched forever for the right combination of metal and wood that would also swivel. I have metal dining chairs as part of a farmhouse look but then I also have a nice wood sideboard that I wanted to bring in as well. I was nervous that the metal on these would be too glossy gray and not gunmetal but they actually work very well. They are not quite as gunmetal as the dining chairs but you don't notice since they are not right next to them. The wood seat is a nice smooth walnut color with a reclaimed look. I was patient and got these on a great sale. Overall I am extremely happy with them.
These stools have a cool blend of weathered reclaimed wood and gray linen with nailheads. I had my handyman assemble them so they are nice and sturdy and look great with my White Island and charcoal grey cabinetry. The color is pretty true to the picture.
I recently purchased the Kosas Reclaimed Pine/Iron counter stools and absolutely love the look and especially the sturdiness. That being said the top wood seat had poorly finished rough edges and splinters which when removed left the wood unfinished. The wood seat is also not sealed with polyurethane.
I purchased this stool to replace the "bar" height stools I had for my grandchildren now that they have grown. This is a beautifully made product and would work well with most decors. The wood on the top of the stool has a lovely patina and the metal "legs" appear to be powder coated to a rich finish.
