I'm pretty happy with these stools considering the low price (outfitted my bar for under $200). Installation was easy with the supplied allen wrench and a screw gun. The stools seem pretty sturdy. I doubt they would last at an actual bar, but perfect for occasional entertaining. The wood finish looks quality as does the leather and stitching.
I purchased 6 of these bar stools. They look good and are reasonably comfortable especially for mid/low-end quality. I needed something on the smaller size (width) and these fit the bill. However, I would not trust a heavy person to sit on them. You definitely need some patience and expertise to put them together. There were 3 of us working on assembling them. The first one took an hour to put together, but the rest only took 2 hours more. There were a few problems putting them together: 1) the screws were not labeled correctly; 2) the "left" and "right" stickers for the seat struts were not on all of them (the center 3 did not make any difference where they were placed). This was very time-consuming to figure it out since the "bend" is slight to the eye but crucial to putting the seat back together; and 3) the washers were correct for all but one chair -- one was a little tiny thing compared to the correct ones, which I replaced on my own. My party guests liked these bar stools, so all in all, I would recommend them.
